MERIDIANI AND MADE IN ITALY PROTAGONISTS AT THE QUIRINALE
Meridiani's contemporary Made in Italy is on display at the Palazzo del Quirinale: the company founded in Misinto, Brianza, in 1996 was selected as a witness of Italian design. "Quirinale contemporaneo" is the name of the project strongly desired by the President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella and that started on June 2nd, the very day of the celebration of the Italian Republic. No longer only historical furnishings and examples of ancient art but also 36 works of modern art and 32 Italian design objects are now part of the artistic heritage of the rooms of the Colle.
This is how now the Bongo collection of coffee tables, designed by Andrea Parisio, furnishes the Napoleonic Lounge thus becoming part of the permanent collection of the Palazzo, alongside masterpieces by Giorgio de Chirico, Lucio Fontana, Gio Ponti and Gae Aulenti, among the others. It will therefore be possible to appreciate the different declinations of the geometric solid of the particular shape of Bongo, on display in two different sizes with a grey glossy lacquer finishing: grey as the color of elegance capable of furnishing in all its shades, such as the Stone grey by Meridiani.
