MAISON & OBJET 2015

January 2015

Maison & Objet, January 2015: an interior design project in which color is the absolute protagonist.
A range of warm embracing tones: various shades of red, from the most vivid one to terracotta, are combined with light blues, teal greens and more neutral colors. Soft velvets are paired with textured fabrics and ultra-matte surfaces are juxtaposed with the metallic sheen of bronze.
A domestic scene, featuring the 2014 collections with a choice of classic models of the brand, shows new color combinations and suggests a current sophisticated lifestyle in which design takes on a new softness.
Mauve walls and oak woodwork make the backdrop for the red velvet of the Lewis up sofa, for the West dining chairs and for the red wool of the swivel Jill armchair; the Jo chairs are shown in a cognac leather and the new Norton seating units in a light blue velvet; the handcrafted bronzed brass finish covers the base of the Gong dining table and the tops of the Miller and Pek coffee tables.
Tuyo, the first MERIDIANI EDITIONS collection, is represented by a handmade upholstered bed with a maxi headboard and a base with a dual spring system: a proposal that suggests the infinite possibilities of customization of this collection.
